The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in planning and executing brand marketing initiatives for Coverstore by developing engaging campaigns that drive sales and creating informative content that highlights the quality, functionality, and benefits of our products. This role focuses on crafting persuasive written content and partnering with the Creative Studio team to bring ideas to life visually through video, photography, and other creative formats. By delivering clear, helpful, and compelling messaging, the Marketing Specialist ensures customers feel informed, confident, and supported throughout their buying journey reinforcing Coverstore as the trusted expert and leader in protective solutions. 

This position works cross-functionally with the Merchandising, Customer Acquisition, and Creative Studio teams to maintain brand consistency, maximize content performance, and execute marketing initiatives on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and driven by a passion for storytelling and customer education. 

Duties and responsibilities
Campaign Planning & Execution 
  • Own and manage the integrated marketing calendar to ensure all content and campaigns are launched on time, on brand, and within budget. 
  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns across email, paid media, social media, direct mail, and emerging platforms. 
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Acquisition and Merchandising teams to align content strategies with promotional plans, product launches, and revenue targets. 
  • Support the execution of the direct mail program, from content development to performance analysis. 
  • Track and report on content and campaign KPIs, using insights to optimize future efforts and maximize results. 

Content Strategy & Development 
  • Plan, write, and launch content across the website, email, social media, direct mail, and other channels, ensuring all messaging is clear, informative, and aligned with the Coverstore brand voice. 
  • Collaborate with merchandising to develop compelling content for new product launches and promotions. 
  • Provide clear, detailed content briefs to the Creative Studio for visual asset development and product imagery, ensuring visuals align seamlessly with campaign objectives. 
  • Optimize all content for organic traffic growth and search visibility, leveraging SEO best practices and keyword insights. 
  • Craft persuasive product copy, how-to guides, educational resources, and other content that showcases product quality and helps customers make informed purchase decisions. 
  • Use customer insights, feedback, and performance data to refine messaging and identify new content opportunities that address customer questions and drive engagement. 
  • Regularly update and maintain content to reflect the latest product information, features, and seasonal relevance. 

Brand Positioning & Authority 
  • Bring the Coverstore brand to life through storytelling and educational content that reinforces our position as the leading expert in protective solutions. 
  • Partner with the Creative Studio to maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. 
  • Use customer personas and journey insights to create content that resonates at every stage of the buying process. 
  • Support brand health initiatives, including monitoring awareness and sentiment, and provide actionable insights to inform strategy. 

Project Management 
  • Lead cross-functional content projects, coordinating deliverables, timelines, and communications with internal teams and external partners. 
  • Maintain organized schedules and workflows to keep initiatives on track and aligned with broader marketing goals

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Merchandising, Digital Media, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, content creation or ecommerce-focused roles
  • Proven success executing high-impact, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, ESPs, social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), and associated planning and scheduling tools
  • Strong written communication and copywriting skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail
  • Positive, entrepreneurial attitude with excellent interpersonal and team collaboration skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced and evolving ecommerce environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), and Canva
  • Experience or interest in AI tools for marketing and content creation is a plus
  • Local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area
