Ecommerce Marketplace Associate (Hybrid)
This is a Hybrid work-from-home position reporting to the office three days a week in Carrollton, Texas.

DC International is looking for an Ecommerce Marketplace Associate to be responsible for the growth, profitability and day-to-day management of all third-party marketplace channels and products supporting these channels. They will be responsible for maintaining accurate product listings, troubleshooting issues, monitoring account health, uncovering opportunities and creating strategies to grow the business. This will include not only existing business through Amazon and Walmart but also researching and recommending other ecommerce marketplaces.
Duties and responsibilities
Below is a list of the primary job duties and responsibilities for the Ecommerce Marketplace Associate. The responsibilities below are meant as a guide for core job functions but are by no means exhaustive.
Merchandising Strategy
- Partner with merchandising teams to launch marketplace assortment and implement merchandising strategies with the goal of achieving sales/profit performance goals.
- Monitor, analyze, generate reports (daily, weekly, monthly), make recommendations and take action on marketplace performance. KPI’s include but are not limited to unit sales, revenue, profitability, ROI, gross margins, etc.
- Optimize the FBA assortment by forecasting, replenishing regularly, analyzing performance, monitoring aged inventory, monitoring returns and making recommendations to enhance sales growth and profit.
- Stay abreast of industry patterns, trends and best practices to support our marketplace growth strategy.
- Research and propose strategies for expanding into other third-party marketplaces.
Marketing/Content Management
- Research and optimize listings by leveraging Rithum, Salsify, Seller Central (Amazon), Seller Center (Walmart), Helium 10 and other tools to enhance placement and organic search performance.
- Establish and execute marketplace marketing strategies including campaign management, promotional opportunities, consumer engagement opportunities, pricing optimization, and content optimization.
Product Integrity and Maintenance
- Ensure detailed accuracy of product listings to increase product rankings and drive sales. This includes assortment reviews, ongoing auditing, error resolution, and maintenance of parent/child relationships.
- Be the subject matter expert on product information flow to marketplaces by understanding mechanics of back-end tools, processes, and systems as well as documenting processes, and optimizing for better speed to market and minimizing rework/penalties.
- Actively monitor overall account health (customer service performance, policy compliance, shipping performance), reviews and customer inquiries to gain insights on product gaps and opportunities.
- Work closely with, solicit feedback from, and provide ongoing updates to other departments (Merchandising, Warehouse, Marketing, and Customer Service).
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing Ecommerce business. Experience managing Amazon and/or other 3rd party marketplace a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Able to make critical business decisions by analyzing large data sets.
- Proficient in Excel especially for data manipulation and analytics. Excel skills to include advanced formulas, (Vlookup, concatenate, etc.), charting, conditional formatting, pivot tables and macros, filters, sorting, importing and exporting.
- Strong understanding of retail inventory management, sales analysis, and marketing.
- Proactive and resourceful in problem solving, decision making and executing goals.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail, the ability to plan strategically, and to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to manage the workload and conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional credibility.
- Enthusiastic and driven worker with a passion for eCommerce.
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
